Antiqly for Chrome

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 18, 2026 · Last updated: October 18, 2026

This policy explains what data the Antiqly for Chrome extension (“Antiqly”, “the extension”) handles, why, and what you can do about it. Antiqly for Chrome is published by Obzena LLC, 30 N Gould St #45213, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”).

The short version

The extension does not collect your browsing history, the content of pages you did not ask it to look at, your location, or analytics about how you use it.

2. How an identification works

  1. You right-click an image (or pick one). Chrome gives the extension temporary access to that tab only (the “activeTab” permission).
  2. If your browser can read the image, the extension resizes it (max 1024 px) and sends that copy. If it can't (some sites block it), the extension sends the image's address and our server downloads that single image; as a last resort it crops the image from a screenshot of the visible tab.
  3. Our server checks your plan and sends the image with the page hints to OpenAI's API, which returns the identification. The image is processed in memory and not saved.

OpenAI acts as our service provider. Under its API terms, data sent through its API is not used to train its models by default and is deleted after a limited retention period (up to 30 days).

Results are AI estimates from a single photo. They are not an appraisal and they don't confirm authenticity or value. Don't pick images you are not allowed to share with a service provider.

3. Payments and your plan

When you choose a plan, Stripe's checkout page opens in a new tab. Stripe processes your payment and shares with us the subscription status, plan, renewal date and the email you entered. We never receive your full card number. Stripe's privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy. We report new subscriptions to RevenueCat (subscription analytics) using a pseudonymous ID based on the Stripe customer ID.

4. Browser permissions

5. Service providers

We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or of Obzena LLC.

6. Retention and deletion

To delete the data on our server, email hello@obzena.com with the subject “Antiqly for Chrome data deletion” and the email you used at checkout; we delete it within 30 days. Deleting data does not cancel a subscription; see the Support page for how to cancel.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA or KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to processing. Contact us at hello@obzena.com; we respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Our legal bases (where the GDPR applies) are performance of our contract with you and our legitimate interests in security and abuse prevention.

Our providers process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).

8. Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use data only to provide the extension's single purpose (identifying antiques and collectibles in images you choose), we do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising or creditworthiness, and humans do not read it except with your permission, for security, or to comply with the law.

9. Children, changes and contact

Antiqly for Chrome is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We may update this policy when the extension changes; the current version is always on this page, with the date at the top.
