No. Merge, split, organize, compress and the image tools run inside your browser. Only for AI translation, the text of the pages you choose is sent for translation (not the file).
Click the PDF Xtension button in the toolbar (or press Alt+Shift+P) while the PDF is open, then pick a tool under “PDF on this tab”. For PDFs on your computer (file://), turn on “Allow access to file URLs” for PDF Xtension in chrome://extensions, or drag the file into the tool.
Click “Manage” at the top of the PDF Xtension page to open the Stripe customer portal and cancel there, or email us. You keep access until the end of the paid period. Removing the extension does not cancel the subscription.
Keep the PDF Xtension page open: it unlocks automatically within a few seconds of payment. If it doesn't, click “Plans”, then “Restore purchase”, and enter the email you used at checkout to get a code. You can also use “Restore purchase” on another computer or Chrome profile (up to 3).
Each page with text that you send for translation. Blank pages and pages that are only images are free. Weekly plans include 50 pages per week; Annual plans 60 pages per month.
The PDF is probably a scan (a picture of text). OCR for scanned PDFs is planned; for now the translator needs PDFs with selectable text.

Remove the password first (open it with the password and save a copy without it), then use PDF Xtension.
